Systematic Literature Review (SLR)
A systematic literature review demands rigour, transparency, and exhaustive coverage. Our SLR team follows PRISMA guidelines throughout — from developing the research protocol and executing multi-database searches to screening records, extracting data, and synthesising findings into a publication-standard review.

Data extracted, appraised, and synthesised into a coherent review.
The Nexor Research Publications Difference
What sets our systematic literature review (slr) service apart from the alternatives.
PRISMA Compliance
Our SLRs follow PRISMA 2020 guidelines strictly — the international standard for systematic review reporting required by most indexed journals.
Multi-Database Coverage
We search PubMed, Scopus, WOS, EMBASE, CINAHL, PsycINFO, and grey literature sources — ensuring comprehensive and defensible coverage.
Two-Reviewer Verification
All screening is conducted by two independent reviewers, with disagreements resolved by consensus — reducing bias and strengthening credibility.
Common Questions
How long does a full SLR take?
A rigorous SLR typically takes 8–16 weeks depending on search scope and synthesis complexity. We agree a realistic timeline at the protocol stage.
Can you conduct a meta-analysis as part of the SLR?
Yes. If included studies are sufficiently homogeneous, we extend the review to include quantitative meta-analysis with pooled effect sizes and forest plots.
Will the SLR be registered on PROSPERO?
We prepare and submit the protocol for PROSPERO registration, which is increasingly required by journals and strengthens the review's credibility.
What if I have a partially completed SLR?
We can continue an existing review from where you left off, provided we have the search strategy, screening decisions, and any extracted data.
